Robert Anthony Taber (Rob)

My name is Margy Brown and I'm fundraising for my younger brother, Rob, who passed away 3 days before Christmas, aged 47.

Rob was a special man, a twin to his brother Paul. Younger brother to myself, my sister Kathy and an older brother to the youngest member of our family, Ray. Rob also leaves behind his wife, Julie and his beautiful mum, Irene.

Rob was born with Epilepsy and Cerebral Palsy and an inoperable cyst on the brain which was scanned every year to ensure it had not moved or grown. He turned to alcohol a few years ago when he could no longer work and was warned that if he didn't give it up, he would die. So, he attempted to turn his life around and stayed clean for 4 years up until recently when he lost his dad, Bob, last year and then our Stepdad, Frank, 10 weeks ago.

Frank's passing has been a long road for us all and it has also left us without the means to afford a proper burial for our brother. We are trying to find out if he had superannuation anywhere but if he does, it would be very little, if anything, and fees would have certainly depleted a lot over the years.

I know that all of us are doing it tough right now, some more than others but if you are able to donate, it would be greatly appreciated by our family as we are unable to plan a funeral or service until we have the funds required. The Funeral Home have told us if we can pay half of what is required, they can put us on a payment plan to pay off the other half.
