Robert (Bob) McKean - Stage 4 Cancer

Hi, my name is Patti McLaughlin and I started this Go Fund Me for my brother-in-law Robert (Bob) McKean. Bob is married to my sister Robin (Brunner) McKean.
Bob was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 which has metastasized to his bones. Surgery is not an option. They currently have no income as of right now. Robin his wife was laid off of work March 2020 due to COVID-19. Her unemployment ran out two weeks ago. Bob is self employed and due to COVID-19 his work came to a standstill except for a few jobs here and there. Since October 2020 Bob has not been able to work at all due to his health deteriorating. I know there are millions of people with different types of cancers in the world, but this one hits home. This is my family.
Bob is supposed to start his first chemo treatment today, January 22, 2021. The funds will be used to help with medical bills, prescriptions and other monthly expenses. Robin went to pick up one of his prescriptions (a months’ worth) on Thursday, January 21, 2021 and it was $600.00. She was only able to get one week’s worth.
