Robert Chavez Sr. Funeral and Memorial Fund

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Robert "Bobby" Chavez Sr has lost his battle with COVID-19.  Bobby left this earthly plane in the early morning hours of the 28th day of February 2021. Bobby's passing was unexpected and due to the circumstances, we are asking for help to assist his wife and family with his funeral and medical expenses. We need to raise $15,000  in order to give him the funeral he deserves and help offset some of the medical costs.  

Anyone who knew Bobby knew he had a heart of gold and was one of the funniest people you would ever meet. He always had a smile and kindness to share.  Even though he had spent many recent years battling health issues, you would have never known as he always had a positive attitude and kind demeanor.  He has been a long-time resident of the Copper Basin Area, a proud union member, and worked at the mine for many years before his retirement.  Many would see him out in about usually with his grandkids and enjoying everything our community has to offer.
