Robert Cicarelli Philmont Fund

Robert Cicarelli Jr. of Sandy Hook, CT, passed suddenly and unexpectedly on December 24th, 2021. Robert is survived by his best friend, wife and true love of 30 years, Rebecca, and his three children Siena, Justin and Camryn who will hold him forever in their hearts. Robert will be remembered by those who loved him for his smile and kind eyes, undeniable grit, extreme intelligence, abundance of dad jokes, embellished stories, huge heart, and his love of life.

 

Scouting was a very big part of that life. His real passion was parlaying his experience as an Eagle Scout to set the example for his son Justin and other boys in Newtown, rising to Scoutmaster for Troop 270 and continuing to serve through this year, seeking hiking and outdoor adventures nearly every weekend. Philmont was, for him, the ultimate adventure and one that he talked about for years. As such, 

the family is collecting donations to set up a Robert Cicarelli Philmont Fund. This will support Scouts heading to hike at the Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM.
