Robert Del Sesto Medical Fund

Bob Del Sesto passed away March 27th after a year-long struggle with lung cancer at the age of 70.  It was his fourth different cancer battle in two decades.  Only this year, Bob spent three stints in the hospital since early February -- a total of 24 days, with numerous CT scans, X-rays, lab tests, medical tests and daily respiratory treatments.  The hospitalist doctor visits are extremely expensive and billed out of network  insurance, which means it comes mostly out of pocket, and that is just this year's hospitalizations. His long hospital journey began last June, 2019, when radiation treatment burned his esophagus and made him extremely ill, which was the first of his many hospitalizations last year.

Bob spent 23 years as a beloved teacher at Thousand Oaks High School, where he had an enormous impact on many young lives, who looked to him for love and guidance to make it through difficult years academically and personally.  He was also devoted to his beautiful family, daughters Alyssa and Rebecca, and wife Tammy -- as well as dear friends, Carl and Kelly Reichenberger.

To help with the costs of all his hospital visits and other medical expenses, we're asking for your kind donations.
