Robert Demaree-funeral & family support
Donation protected

Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am a long time friend of the late Robert Demaree and his wife and daughter.
Robert's family faces the great tragedy of this unexpected loss with incredibly heavy hearts and irreparable grief. Losing a father so unexpectedly is something unimaginable and something that will never be healed. His family will never be the same without him, and neither will anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Robert suffered a cardiac arrest while driving on 9/26/2023. Although, he was revived and had a stent put in his heart, he was diagnosed with an anoxic brain injury due to lack of oxygen at the time of cardiac arrest. Robert was moved to hospice 2 weeks after his cardiac arrest. This was an agonizing decision for the entire family, but Robert had previously discussed his wishes with in the event something like this ever occurred. Robert passed away last night 10/11/2023 at 10:18 PM. It was very peaceful.
With such an expected death, the family is left in an even worse situation than they were after a string of unforeseen events over the past year. Robert had lost his job, been hospitalized several times, his daughter involved in a car accident (car was totaled), then on May 17th, Robert was hit by a semi truck that ran a stop sign. His days post accident were spent at numerous doctor's appointments, physical therapies and receiving pain injections. His hospitalizations and car accident prevented him from returning to work and supporting the family.
Please keep the family in your prayers during this devastating time and we ask that if you are able to donate, please help support his family through this dark time by easing their financial burden. Not only do they need assistance with funeral expenses, his wife & daughter are now facing foreclosure on their family home due to the string of unforeseen circumstances over the past year. The lender has sent them a demand letter and stated the property is pending foreclosure. They need a miracle!
Robert was a Gulf war era Veteran (Desert Shield/Desert Storm) who was born in Germany and was an Army Brat. He graduated from Ft. Knox High School in Radcliff Kentucky in 1988 and spent most of his professional career in the Automotive Industry.
Roberts last position was as a Dealer Rep for General Motors. He and his family had lived in Monroe Ohio, Glendora California and Haymarket Virginia before moving to Tampa Florida for his career.
Robert made many friends throughout his career and was loved by many.
