Robert Fielder and his medical needs

Donation protected
Hi Everyone,

As you may know, our dear friend Robert suffered a stroke on the morning of August 6. Thankfully he was found quickly by a friend who was staying with him. He was rushed to Desert Regional Hospital where he had a blood clot removed from the left side of his brain and has been in the hospital since then.

His recovery so far has been inspiring! He is no longer on a breathing tube or an IV. He is walking independently and can understand everything. He does, however still have a language deficit, which is common after a stroke.

Robert has been thriving off the many visitors, face times, and conversations, and he is amazed by the amount of flowers sent to his room.

While his recovery has been incredible, he still has a long road ahead. Robert will be going to an in-patient rehab center in the desert where he will have more intensive speech therapy and physical therapy.

We are not sure how long his recovery will be and what life will look like for him in the future, so we're asking for your help. There is no way to determine when he will be able to go back to work.

Thank you all so much for whatever you can do to help our sweet and thoughtful friend! Anything would be appreciated! Big hugs to you all- Linda, Chuck, Craig and Todd
