Robert Keener's Medical Care and Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Howdy! I'm Robert's daughter, Yvette, and I'm trying to help my dad with the expenses for his care.
He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served at the Naval Air Station on Whidbey Island where he was exposed to nuclear ionization that is known to cause many cancers. His job was loading nuclear warheads on to planes in the 70s. That's likely to be the cause of this very aggressive cancer that began in his lungs, but has spread to his brain, liver and bones.
He wants to go home, to be with his dog, Rebel, and on his land. The insurance will not cover nursing care in his home. My son and I are doing our best to care for him, but I live in California and can only be there for 2 weeks at a time and my son is taking over his dozer business and has to work to keep that going. Between the co-pays and deductibles, travel expenses and the need to hire a private nurse to help, we are at wits end and are asking for help.
No amount is too small. Thank you for your prayers for peace and comfort.
