Greetings of Peace and Love.
Robert Kehoe here reaching out in less-than-ideal circumstances. I find myself in an embarrassing and life-changing calamity through no fault of my own. On the night of November 22nd, 2022, at 9:50 pm, while I was on my way to work, I encountered a driver who failed to yield and made a left-hand turn in front of me on Airport Blvd in Morrisville, NC. He was driving a 2011 Chevrolet C/10 Pick Up Truck, and I drive a 2021 Nissan Versa 4-door Sedan.
The impact was devastating, and my vehicle has been considered a total loss. First responders needed to extract me from the car with the jaws of life. But for the grace of God, I sustained no spinal injury or brain damage. I remained conscious throughout the event.
I was in the hospital for six days. After many MRIs, CT scans, XRAYS, and physical examinations, my injuries are as follows: Fractured left clavicle (required surgery, view photo), three fractured ribs on my left side, a fractured sternum, multiple fractures on my left foot, small lesion on my brain and three upper spinal vertebrae show trauma. Although most of the fractures are not critical, the injuries require me to be out of work for three to six months, as per the surgeon's observation.

I am in constant pain and require a strict pain management regimen and continuous home care assistance. The prognosis is good. However, the timeline is catastrophic.

On the personal loss side of the equation, my insurance company will pay for most of the loan that I have on my newly purchased vehicle. I will be left with a debt on the car of about $2,500. As many people do, I live paycheck to paycheck and to be without any income; my financial outlook is very bleak. The financial needs I have involve a down payment for another vehicle, monthly rent and household expenses.

The priority at this point is to be sure that my rent and utilities are paid, with food being next on the list, and finally, to figure out a plan to finance a vehicle. My medical expenses are being paid for through my medical plan and car insurance policy. Please note I have a qualified personal injury attorney working on my case. However, they inform me that the other driver has no insurance on his vehicle. This will complicate the possibility of any settlement within a reasonable amount of time.

I appeal to your compassion and understanding of a situation like this and ask those who might know me to offer whatever they may be able to help me in my recovery from this unfortunate event.

Sincerest thanks in advance, and may you be Blessed and Healthy.
