Bring Robert Becker home!

Hi, My name is Meghann Medeiros. Robert is my Step dad. As many of you know, Rob has been having some serious health issues over the last several months. What we didn't know what the extent of that issue,and the long hard road it would put my step dad and mom on. Rob has been in the hospital in San Francisco since October 5th. We found out he needed to have Open Heart surgery to repair his tricuspid valve. The broken valve was causing his heart and liver to fail. The only live saving chance he had was to have this operation. Going into it, we knew the high risks and also the good it would do. On Thursday the 19th, Rob went into surgery that morning. 7 hours later we were told Rob was now fighting for his life even harder. With a 50/50 chance of making it out of the OR. Since the 19th, Rob has still been fighting for his life to recover. We knew it would be a tough road but couldn't grasp how tough it will be till we got here. Rob is still in the ICU on life saving support, to keep his heart working and his body going. Since the 5th my Mom has been down there by his side. While in the ICU no one can stay in the room with him. So my mom has been staying in a hotel a few blocks from the Hospital, going to and from to be with him. As you can imagine, that adds up. My mom works hard as an RN, but has been out of work due to a shoulder repair that she's put on hold in healing, to be there for her Husband. We were just told today that Rob would be spending another full month in ICU before he can even be brought down to a normal level of care. Which means, my mom still has to extend her stay, to be by his side. This is something they weren't expecting but have to deal with. Many of you know Robert and how much he loves, and his will to live. If I could give everything I have just to help my parents, and bring my step dad home I would. I'm just asking that if anyone is willing to help even just a few dollars, to take a little stress off my mom. She's been trying her best to keep it together. (Also those of you who know her, know how proud of a person she is to ask for help) so im taking this chance for her. We love Robert so much, our dad, pops, papa, husband, son, friend. He is my Hero, and I can't wait till he wakes up, and I can hear him tell me it's going to be alright!
