Robert Ratkowski

Please help us put our father to rest.

Robert Edward Ratkowski was born August 28,1946. Robert lost his battle to cancer on October 19, 2023 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was a proud husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He served his country for 12 years in the army, which included two tours in Vietnam and a stint in the Pentagon. Robert and his wife Kae moved to Folsom in 1973 to raise their family. Together they treated all of their children’s friends like family and opened their home and their hearts to many of them. He was loved by everyone who had the privilege to have known him. Robert had a heart of gold and he was always someone you could depend on for anything. He would give the shirt off his back if it meant it helped another. He will be greatly missed by all!

He served his community by coaching the children of Folsom in Football, Baseball and Softball for many years.

He was a dedicated Cleveland Browns football fan and a Cleveland Indians baseball fan. He was so happy he got to witness his Cleveland Brown’s win over the 49ers last Sunday before he passed.
