Robert “Smiley” Rollins (Tragically Killed)

In the early evening on Sunday, April 14, 2024, Robert Roy Rollins was on his way home to Nevada. He was riding his motorcycle that he dearly loved in a pack with his brothers from the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group Chapter 2066. While traveling on U.S. 93 near State Route 71 in Arizona a reckless driver took his car and went head on with the pack of motorcycle riders. Injuring many but our father Robert took the full force in a head on collision with this vehicle. With the combined speed, Robert tragically died instantly on impact.

Our father and my hero did not deserve this tragic death. He does deserve justice for the actions of this man that day. This GoFundMe has been created to provide relief towards all legal fees, cost with laying Robert to peace and bringing complete justice for the events that day.

Our father Robert went through a tough life and never had that many friends. He finally found an amazing group of people with the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group. I could tell my father was finally happy and truly living his best life with them all. He finally had friends and people he could call brothers. These amazing men and women helped take care of him in so many ways. I finally got to see him happy and not afraid to go out in public.

Our father’s life was taken way too soon. My family now does not have that loving man to be around. My sister and I can’t have those dinners with his anymore. Those hugs that smelt like Indian Motorcycle exhaust. Most of all his grandkids have lost their grandpa. We would give anything just to have him back. We know he is finally home in heaven with his mother Frankie Jean Rollins. He just got there a little sooner than expected.

Robert is survived by his 2 children Shiree Carter and Garrett Rollins. His beautiful grandkids Vanessa Poppenga (21), Dean Poppenga (23), Scarlett Rollins (4), Noah Rollins (2).
