We are Rob and Sam Smidt, and we want to thank you so much for taking the time to visit our page and for your consideration in helping support us in our journey to becoming parents. Though unfortunately, we may be unable to have kids the way that we had hoped for, we are thankful for the miracle of science and In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
The process, however, is rather costly and taxing (both physically and mentally) so we are humbly asking for your prayer and support through this time. We believe in the power of prayer and the provision of God so we would like to invite you to pray with us through the entire process, and if you’re able to support us in our finances we would be immensely grateful. Please pray for the following specific items:
- Energy and peace for Sam as there will be many appointments, medications, syringes, pokes, prods, and pains in this rollercoaster of an experience.
-Continued favor and provision from the Lord in our finances. He has already been so faithful, and we are so humbled by the way He has shown up.
- Our future children: Though we have not met them yet, we know that they are uniquely created by God and we are so excited to have them in our lives and to have the opportunity to be in theirs as well.
-Wisdom and Discernment throughout this process as we seek to make well-informed and biblically grounded decisions.
For those who are able to give, and help support us in the financial aspect, we would like to assure you that all funds that are raised will go directly to the cost of IVF from start to finish. It will cover the costs of all office visits, medications, and procedures that will take place over the next few months.
