Robert (Shorty) Short Funeral

Hi my name is Shana, I am Shorty's daughter, it's with great sadness that I have to ask for family, friends and possibly even strangers to help raise money so that we can give dad the best funeral that he deserves.

Dad passed Friday 24th of March, leaving no savings, no plans, no super or anything to help with the costs.

After suffering a heart attack in January we found out he had heart failure and everything started going downhill from iithere, after coming home from hospital dad suffered both physically and mentally.

He came to the realisation that he could never ride again and for anybody who knew him they would know how much he loved his bikes and would ride around like Valentino Rossi.

He was still too stubborn to ask for help and after days and days of asking him if he was alright I finally convinced him to see a dr, the dr then sent him up to the hospital because he was concerned and his concerns were right.

Dad spent another 5days in hospital, this time he wouldn't get to come home.

He had internal bleeding and doctors couldn't operate as he was too frail and the bleed was too severe. Dad decided he had enough and he asked for no more medical interventions, he chose to go and see his loved ones who were waiting for him in heaven.

I ask if you could please help us give him a nice service, I wouldn't ask unless I absolutely had to and I deeply appreciate every cent offered.

UPDATE: I have managed to come up with majority of the money, so I will lower the amount needed on here, I want to thank everyone who has helped so far and hope that we can get the amount together.

Dads funeral will be held on Tuesday 11th of April at Lakeside Memorial in Dapto.
