Rob Spears Recovery Fund

On August 11th Rob Spears, Metal Fabricator with the City of Portland and union member with Laborers Local 483, suffered a catastrophic on the job injury. Rob is currently recovering in the ICU and has been placed on a breathing tube. While Rob is stable, it will take time and support for him to navigate the long road ahead. In recent weeks, Rob's friends and coworkers have expressed great concern and have been asking how they can help. Laborers 483 has started this campaign to convert that desire to help into material support for Rob and his family with the many expenses associated with his recovery.

All money collected through this campaign will be directly deposited into an account controlled by the family. Any money collected that they decide is in excess of their expenses will be forwarded to the charity of their choice.

The people that know Rob best speak first of his dependability. Now is the time to show Rob and his loved ones that they can rely on this community, the same way we have relied on him.
