Robert Szelazek fight with cancer

I know Robert for probably close to 25 years and I'm proud to be his friend.  I think many of you know him well too. For years he has been promoting Polish culture and business. Together with Wojtek Sniegowski, they were the organizers the biggest Polish summer festival at Ontario Place called "Polish Day". At present, he is a producer of the popular Radio 7 and the CEO of "Zycie" weekly newspaper. Both are essential to the Polish community.  In a matter of days from a young and energetic person, always smiling and full of ideas, Robert became ill and is fighting for his life. For me, this is an absolute shock and I believe for all of you too. It shows how fragile we are. He is proud and hates asking for help. But I think as his friends we owe him our support. I know that times are tough and we all trying to survive but we have a long time to go. Robert might not be so lucky! I ask you to express your gratitude to the person who deserves that.  We are not perfect as human beings, but in times like this, we should show our greatness and compassion.   Anything will help to offset the incredibly high cost of the medication and the cost of experimental life-saving treatments. I'm asking all of Robert's friends to be generous.
