Robert Velazquez medical expenses

Hello, as some of you may know in early December Robert (Bobby) Velazquez was hospitalized for a severe infection in his foot. While in the hospital, he began bleeding from an unknown location. After testing, Bobby received the devastating news that he has Stage 3 Colon Cancer and had to undergo surgery to remove a large cancerous mass and get a colonoscopy bag. He will have a long road of recovery and physical therapy from both the infected foot and cancer battle.

If you know Bobby, you know he is super hardworking, funny, witty and animated and he will take this all in stride and with a smile. But as we know cancer can pose huge financial challenges. We have created this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will help Bobby navigate the financial burdens associated with this medical journey. Funds will be used for medical treatments not covered by insurance, hospital stays, physical therapy and everyday living expenses at a time when working full time may not be feasible for him.

As Bobby has lost both his parents and has no siblings our extended family thanks you in advance for all the love and support you can give. It’s not easy receiving news like this but especially so close to the holiday, so we also ask that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers!
