Bob “Doc” Waldron Scholarship Fund
“Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away to the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, That, we still are.”
We knew him as Bob, Bobby, Pop, Pop Pop, Uncle Bobby, Doc, Coach, Ace, Hook, Teacher, Mentor, Mr. Met Fan, the list goes on. No matter what we called him or how we knew him, we all have one thing in common. He made a difference in our life. He made us all feel that he was our best friend.
In Bob’s memory, an annual scholarship fund is being established to qualified students of Keansburg High School to continue the legacy of Bob where he was a teacher, coach and mentor to thousands of kids for almost 40 years. The hope is that those awarded a scholarship will live life to the fullest like Bob and aspire to make a difference in the world.
A legend, Bob Waldron, gone but never forgotten, you will live in our hearts forever.
