Robert Zapata Medical Expenses (our dad)

Hi my name is Veronica Zapata, and I created this fundraising account for my dad. My dad was a nurse for 30 years working for Spohn and before that he was in the military. Last August ( 2020) he was diagnosed with prostate cancer stage 4 and it spread to his kidneys. Last October they removed his prostate and left kidney. After that we been traveling to MD Anderson for check ups and made a plan to burn a small piece of mass on his right kidney. Traveling back and forth to MD Anderson has affected my parents financially. Because of this my dad had to put in an early request for retirement, and it’s still in the process.

On September 8, 2021 my mom ( Marisa ) received a phone call from shoreline hospital that my dad was being admitted at the ER. He crashed into a fire hydrant because he had a seizure. We rushed to the hospital and they took a MRI of his body and found a golf size mass on his frontal right lobe in his brain. The next day he had surgery to remove the mass in his brain. Now we are focusing on a full recovery and rehabilitation. Anything you can help contribute would be very appreciated. This would go directly to his medical related expenses and household expenses.
