Roberta´s dress label

I have always been stopped on the streets by people asking where do I get my clothes from. I enjoy dressing up on every day basis, it´s part of my lifestyle. I come from very small city in Slovakia and I used to be bullied and laugh at all the time until I finally moved to London and got accepted for who I am. I collect and wear a lot of 1940´s-1950´s pieces, but I don´t to be known for another repro brand. I love the vintage look but with modern twist and extravagance! My pieces are proudly made in Slovakia from fabrics all bought here, too. I am helping to keep little sewing manufacture it´s journey, too as they were about to close but still accepted my order. 

People used to encourage me to sell clothes I was wearing but it was always made only in one piece. After years of thinking I decided I would love to own my own business,  design and sell dresses, as I have the great passion for it and never ending imagination. 

I want you to have a dress that last, I got my first bespoke piece about 4 years ago and it´s still in perfect condition. I am very active person, contstantly on the go so quality is impotrtant for me. I also want 80 percent of my designs to be washing-machine friendly so no dry cleaning fuss. They will all have lovely tags too!

Over the years I designed many dresses and I never got tired of them. I came up with a little idea, to name my pieces after women who inspire me. For now I am only coming up with something I call pre-collection, selection of few favourite dresses in various sizes and colours. I hope it will work and I will be able to bring spring/summer and fall/winter.  Although I work hard at various jobs, London is really tough city and I would be thankful for any donations towards my little project. I am planning to pay half of manufacture and materials by myself and half through gofundme page. This is what I want to do the most and that is to design dresses. Thank you, this means the most to me. 

I will close this campaign 1st of August with whatever amount is raised and put all the folded numbers in the jar and pick one up with closed eyes!

Everyone (non-anonymous) who donates will recieve a number and at the end of this campaign there will be one winner of a dress of your choice and size shipped to you!
