Help Repatriate Roberto "Chowy" Gutiérrez to Guatemala

Beloved Hang Gliding Family: Thank you all so much for your kindness and generosity. Because of your support, we've met our goal to getting the amount needed to get Chowy's home. His family will still have many expenses in the near future. We can continue helping them through this difficult time, any additional contributions, no matter the size, will help and mean so much to them.

Hi everyone,

I am Majo Majors, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart. Today, during the Peñon Classic Race hang gliding competition in Mexico, our dear friend Roberto "Chowy" Gutiérrez tragically lost his life. This devastating accident has left his family in deep sorrow, and they now face the difficult and costly process of bringing his body home to Guatemala.

We need to raise $4,000 to cover the repatriation expenses so that his family can lay him to rest in Giatemala. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease their burden during this heartbreaking time.

Chowy was an incredible person—full of passion, kindness, and a deep love for flying and his family Let’s come together as a community and honor his memory by helping his family in their time of need.
