Roberto's Research Trip to Georgia (Country)

Hello everyone, my name is Roberto, and I am the host of the History of Saqartvelo Georgia, a podcast covering the history of the Caucasian nation of Georgia. I have worked on this podcast for the last couple of years, and everyone I know can easily tell you my love for the nation and its history. Thanks to my love for Georgia, I have been able to finally schedule a research trip in May 2024 for 15 days to allow me to see many of the historical sites that I have covered or will cover on the show, as well as find opportunities to visit many of the museums to learn more about different artifacts and important people to the country.

This is where I am asking for your help. I am currently saving up for this trip to ensure that I can visit as much as possible with the time that I have, and can come away with several research opportunities in libraries, museums, and historical sites. However, I need some support to ensure that I can get to these sites, some of which are hidden deep in the mountains and need a guide to get to, as well as any necessary book and travel costs.

To thank you for your support as well, I will write a short bonus episode at every $100 as thanks to your donations, mostly about the sites that I visit that will probably not make it into the main podcast narrative, and apart from that, an audio journal that I will upload a day by day look into the journey and the things that I am doing while abroad.
