The Roberts Family

On July 20th, 2016 David L. Roberts suddenly passed away at the age of 36 in an accidental drowning while out at the lake. Dave was a man of many hats (mostly pink) and talents who was always doing for others. He was a small business owner who often donated his time and services to the community, sponsored local groups and fundraisers, he was a school board member who gained high praise for his efforts in helping to better the experience for kids in the community he loved, he was a decorated 5th degree black belt Master in Taekwondo helping to foster talents, discipline and friendships in young kids at his Academy. But most importantly he was a husband to Jen and a father to 4 beautiful children Lea(10), Kamryn(8), Eli(4) and Keira(2).

Dave's passing has been devastating to us all who knew and loved him but especially to these 4 amazing kids. I am putting this fundraiser together to help Jen with a small fraction of the financial void she is having to navigate being that Dave was the primary income source for their family. I am hoping we can ease just some of her burden to help with the financials of supporting these kids - utilities, school expenses, vehicle, daycare, groceries, etc. While most of us continue to wake up to our normal lives and routines Jen is just beginning to figure out and help establish what the new "normal" for her and her children means. I can only imagine how long and hard that process is and I just pray that we can continue to help and support her as much as possible.
