Yesterday, my best friend of over two decades (Erica Steiner) lost her father Ross unexpectedly. Today is my birthday, and I have been trying to find ways that I can make some meaning out of everything (using my privilege and platform) that is going on for all of us at this time. The systemic racism, the death, the economic hardship, the murder...
On top of that, Erica was laid off due to COVID and her mother Robin has been dealing with complications due to Dementia/ Alzheimers. Ross was Robin's primary caregiver, and in this time of devastating grief and trauma, I would love to help Erica fund a more long-term caregiver solution for her mother - who was a second Mom to me growing up.
