This is an excerpt of Facebook Post by Bobbye Leigh Morgan:
.... mom and I were in a severe car accident last Friday. We were just about to move me and me take a job, so, as you can imagine, resources are extremely strained and limited with not being in a position to move from my house now or being able to work.
That being said, as of right now:
I have been discharged from trauma, but with no updates on my imaging. My CTs came back clear- a huge blessing with the heavy bruising and cuts on my head from the impact to the windshield and blow to my skull. I will be following up with my neurosurgeon on my full back MRIs next week, My shoulder seems to be healing quickly and I don't believe it was broken but merely a small fracture, but my knees and ankle are broken from taking the majority of lower dashboard impact from the 12-16 inch impact of the engine into the cab and my mobility is severely limited. .....hopefully the headaches and migraines start to soon lessen significantly.
Mom, on the other hand, got the much worse end of things. She has a broken right side of her clavicle with little to no mobility in her right arm. She has two broken ribs and heavy bruising in her lungs, but they look healthy on the inside with no deflation. While her legs didn't get a lot of impact, she was jarred heavily, has cuts and scrapes everywhere as well, and her body is in immense, and in her own words, unbearable pain. Our biggest fear is the fracture at the base of her skull. Her eyesight is close to nil- her eyes do not move in unison, she can see nothing to her left or right, and all is blurry in front of her. The neurologist had hoped for temporary loss the first night, but we have doctors taking videos now after CTs, MRIs, and a multitude of other tests as they are saying they've not seen anything like this before. We are so worried for her and she needs your prayers more than ever. I think everyone can agree that my mom is the toughest woman we all know, and gives everything of herself to anyone she can... please keep that mentality and extend that same kindness to her in your thoughts so that we may see some forward/positive progress in her vision. While I would take every ounce of pain from her if I could, bones will heal- eyes are fragile and you can't imagine how confused she is.
The wreck itself is a long story, but a young 20's kid with a brand new white camaro ran us off the road. PLEASE PRAY THEY FIND THIS PERSON- he left the scene, was utterly irresponsible, and has no business on the road. In an attempt to get his license plate we think my memory may have it, but we need the help of the police. They must go after him and the report dad received had almost none of the information I gave nor the information for any but ONE of the dozen or more witnesses that stopped for us. The last thing we want is for this kid to cause this harm to any other family- we wouldn't wish even a modicum of this strain, pain, and sleepless, draining nights we've experienced on ANYONE.

How can you help?
Please consider making a monthly or weekly donation until Bobbye can get back on her feet and to work!
No amount is too small. If 500 people gave just $20.00 that would be $10,000.00!
I am doing what I can but I can't meet the entire financial need myself.
This is all so surreal ...I still struggle to wrap my head around the fact that this has happened. I don't abuse my friends & family network with constant request ...but they are in dire need of your prayers and compassion...so I hope that you will commit to add them to your daily prayers for a very long time until healing is complete....much love to you all..hug... love your family and loved ones every single day because you never know what tomorrow will bring...it's a miracle that they are even alive and I give God all the glory for that...
And most important of all prayer for Robin's eye sight to be fully restored and the horrific pain to subside.
Justice to driver!!! please FB private message me if you are in law enforcement and can assist John with this part.
