Memorial for Robin Cook

Hi, my name is Aspen. I am Robin’s daughter, and I am 19 years old.

As most of you know, my mother adored TCS. You were more than an online friend to her you, were her family. I know that the news of her passing has been shocking and heartbreaking to you all.

My mother passed away due to complications from her end stage COPD, and most likely suffered a cardiac episode as a result. It has been confirmed that she was also battling covid at the time as well, which we were not made aware of until after her passing.

I have been asked to establish this account because several of you have asked how to help. Please know that I appreciate any and everything that can be contributed to lessen the burden on me as I try to figure out and navigate the next steps of my life without my mom.

I am currently working at Starbucks, and they have been gracious enough to let me have the week off to try and figure things out. I’ve been out of work for two weeks now, as I also had Covid the week prior.

At this time, I will not be having a service for my mother. It’s not financially possible. I have applied for indigent assistance to help with the bills associated with her “arrangements”. I have a family member who is going to assist me with an urn for my mom’s ashes, but at this time I am not able to run an obit on her behalf either.

If you feel inclined to donate to this, please know that any funds will be to assist me in getting any other funeral expenses that aren’t paid for; death certificates, gas money, groceries, etc.

Also, please understand that I appreciate any assistance you can offer me in any form to pay tribute to my mother. I wish that I could take the time to fully express to each and every one of you just how much she cherished you. You made her days brighter and her life was filled with joy because of your friendships, humor, and kindness, and for that I am forever grateful for each and everyone of you.
