Robin Goddard Emergency Assistance

Mother’s Day 2020, amid Covid-19 was looking like a good day to celebrate Robin’s 41st birthday as the first day with family in months. Unfortunately, he had to work in the AM and disaster struck in the form a falling tree. Robin was wearing protective head gear (which likely saved his life) and taking normal precautions to do the work he loves. That day he was working for a dear friend that we consider family.  As a result of this disaster Robin sustained breaks and fractures from his shoulders to his ankles. These included left arm and femur, right shoulder/collar bone and ankle, multiple spinal fractures, and over 12 broken ribs.  He had his first surgery May11th to stabilize his left femur with rods and set his left humerus. He will require additional surgery and extensive rehab. Robin is a strong fighter and will need to use that strength along with our continued love, support and prayers to get through this difficult time.

He is in the best hands at UMMC Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD. Because of Covid-19 we are not permitted to visit, and it is difficult for his fiancé Rachel Malloy, 3 year old son Silas and the rest of his family to sit and wait from hours away. Robin is self employed and will be out of work for a very long time.  Some have asked how they can help, so we have set up this GoFundMe site and greatly appreciate your help with his mounting medical needs and household bills.
