Please help an Officer in need

Hi, my name is Geraldine and I'd like to tell you a little bit about my friend Robin. Robin has been one of my closest friends since we were teenagers. She has always been a reliable person, no questions asked, except of course what shovel are we using and who is driving (haha). Well, I want to be that reliable person in her time of need. Robin is facing some financial hardship and needs some help.

Robin comes from a long line of family that served with the Chicago Police Department. She is 3rd generation of the blue family. She worked in the 018th District since coming on the job in 2008. Unfortunately, on August 27, 2021, Robin was injured on duty. That injury has resulted in two back surgeries. The first surgery was in February 2022 and the last, September 2022. These surgeries have prohibited her from returning to work. Robin has submitted the paperwork for disability however, has been on a no-pay status since September 2022. I set this up hoping to levitate some financial strain and help her a little until she is approved for disability. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
