Robin Hutchins’ fight with Follicular Lymphoma

Robin was recently diagnosed with stage 3-4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Her treatment will begin after a PET scan and a planning meeting with her oncologist. Treatment will include Chemotherapy and perhaps Rituximab, depending on the results of the PET scan. She will also be working with a naturopathic doctor in between chemotherapy treatments. Follicular Lymphoma is not curable but is treatable. The good news is Robin and her family have Health insurance. The bad news is, insurance doesn’t cover the cost of all the treatments she will need to have the best chance at a healthy life with minimal symptoms. Follicular Lymphoma is a chronic life time disease that will require frequent monitoring and continued treatment to insure continued remission and a positive outcome.

Robin has made it her life’s goal to be of service in her career and personal life, raising two of her grandchildren. But above all, Robin is absolutely devoted to her family and friends. As her family and friends know, being loved by Robin is the best. Helping her with some of the stress of medical finances will allow her to continue caring for others and help her focus on healing and caring for herself.
