Support for Hawkins Family!

Hey y'all. I am Jonaé Woods and my best friend, my goddaughter and her grandmother's home was severely damaged by a tornado on December 9, 2023.

Yesterday (December 10), with the help of friends, family and community, we cleared the entire home before the roof caved in. Anything salvaged has been placed in storage.

A little more about them. Robin is the strongest mama I know. She and her 12-year-old daughter, Kamea, were home during the tornado, taking safety in her (Kamea's) bedroom closet. By the absolute grace of God, the only part of the roof, in that room, that stay secured during the storm was over the closet. The majority of Kamea's room was lost.

This GoFundMe campaign will provide a cushion of support as they navigate displacement. They are truly hoping to return home (as this is the home she and her daughter grew up in), but are unaware if and how soon they could return.
