Robin Roberts Funeral & Medical Fund

Tuesday September 7th our community lost a beautiful soul. We are extremely sad to announce Robin Roberts passed away. On August 24th we discovered Robin had a blood clot in her intestine. She was immediately rushed into emergency surgery with only a 50% chance of survival. In 5 days, she received 3 surgeries in attempt to save her life. She fought for additional week in ICU on a ventilator and various medications keeping her vitals stable. Unfortunately, the trauma was just too much for her body to handle and she peacefully passed away surrounded by her family.

We have found peace knowing she has earned her place in heaven. She was known for being extremely hard working, loving God, and her silly yet blunt personality. Every evening she read her Bible. Every Sunday she watched the sermon from Revolution church.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses and medical fees. Any remaining donations will go her husband Richard’s living expenses who is currently unemployed and attempting to get on disability due to neck and back injuries.
