Robin's Cancer Fight

Robin, a 59 year old mother of 3 and grandmother of 2, was diagnosed in January after several months of seeking treatment for mysterious growths on her neck and hip with metastatic adenocarcinoma, a type of lung cancer. She became unable to work in January when one of her tumors crushed two discs in her spine, requiring emergency spinal fusion surgery. She is currently undergoing radiation therapy in hopes of shrinking her tumors to a safe size to begin chemotherapy. Since she has been unable to work, Robin has lost her home, as well as all of her savings. She is currently living with her daughter Sommer, a Pre-K teacher in Tulsa. Robin is asking for help simply in making ends meet while she undergoes treatment. She needs help maintaining her car insurance so that she can be driven to doctor's appointments, paying for her phone and buying groceries. She has applied for government aid and social security, but urgently needs help while wading through the red tape and waiting for a response.
