Robin Engler's lung transplant fundraiser

Hi everyone,

My name is Eric Hendrix and I have been blessed by an incredible woman in the LGBTQ recovery community on my recovery journey and it is my honor to help her raise funds as God has delivered a new challenge. She has been an active member and leader within Lambda Phoenix Center and the trans community, as well serving with AZ Spring Break, the only LGBTQ AA Conference in Arizona. She is truly a Godsend to many of us in the Phoenix Recovery community.

She has provided this information in regards to her urgent medical needs in which the community may be able to support:

"Hello everyone,

Recently I was diagnosed with acute lung failure. I’ve been placed on a transplant list and the VA will be covering all medical expenses. However they do not cover the expenses for my care team and subsequent travel. They also do not cover any food expenses for me or my caregivers. Without your donations I will not be able to have the surgery.

I’m asking for your assistance to be able to have this life giving procedure.

The first target date for fundraising for Robin to be eligible to receive a transplant requires she have the funds to travel with a caregiver beginning Aplril 31st. Please help us reach this goal and stay tuned and connected so that we can help her walk through this journey with us and bless us with many more years to come in the community.
