Last Respects for Robleigh Majors

Hello - my name is Eric Scott, and I am raising money to give Robleigh Majors a proper memorial. Robleigh passed away in mid-July. As of this writing, his body is still with the St. Louis Medical Examiner's Office, as they have not been able to find a next-of-kin who would able to claim him.

Although I have not seen Robleigh in many years, he was an important part of my childhood, and I would like to see his body claimed and treated respectfully, and for him to receive a memorial service.

Robleigh was, among many other things, a fixture for some years in Circus Flora and the City Museum, a freelance clown, and one of the best drummers to ever grace a St. Louis bar stage. He had fallen on hard times in the past few years, including experiencing houselessness at times. Even for those like myself who had lost contact with him, he left an indelible impression; I still thought of him at least once a week, even after all that time.

These funds are being raised to purchase a basic cremation service. After paying for the cremation and any associated costs, any additional funds raised will be donated to Peter and Paul Community Services, who helped Robleigh during some of his times of need.
