Family, Friends, and It Works Family
One of our dear friends and It Works family members, has had to deal with incredible loss this past month. The day after she joined our It Works family, she suffered the loss of her Grandpa, and two weeks prior to that she had lost her Aunt to Cancer. Her Dad who has been having some major health issues for months had to have surgery on Thursday and while she was at the hospital caring for her Dad the day after his surgery, her Husband, Rob was called home to be with the Lord unexpectedly.
Christy has four children. Two, whom are grown, Brittney with husband Justin and Fenny with husband Dominic, one who graduated high school this month, Jeremy, and one entering her senior year of high school, Brianna. Rob treated and loved those kids as his own. Brittney's husband is currently deployed to Afghanistan and is being brought home for the services.
Rob has been a public servant for over 22 years. He has served as a Peace Officer at the Vacaville State Prison and most currently the Vacaville State Prison Medical Facility.
Christy and Rob had an amazing love story, as they were high school sweethearts that went their separate ways after school. The Lord brought them back together after 25 years and gave them 6 glorious years together, 3 1/2 years of marriage. Such an amazing love story and to have it end so tragically is so unbelievably heartbreaking!
We ask that you surround Christy, and her children with prayers, love and support.
Our company believes in "ONE TEAM ONE MISSION". That means in good times and in bad times! We are setting up this fund to help this family and to rally around them in a time of great need. We want Christy and her children to know that her It Works family along with her friends and family will always be here for her!
In speaking to Christy's twin sister, Cindy, we have found out that all of Rob's personal accounts and property have been frozen. As many of us do, Rob planned on being here for many years to come and did not get around to putting Christy on any of his accounts. This creates a huge immediate need for their family!
If you can possibly help in anyway, We know that their family would be so very grateful! The funds raised will allow Christy the much needed help with funeral expenses and to be able to focus on her and her children during this time of grieving.
Thank you in advance for all the prayers, love, and support that we know you will all show Christy and her children at this time.
Below is the post from Christy's Facebook Page. We felt it was important to share her sentiments about her husband with you!
May God Bless you all!!!

"Yesterday was the worst day of my life. My best friend, husband and soul mate suddenly was called home to be with our Lord. I loved him so very much and don't know how I will go on without him. The Lord brought us back together after 25 years and the 6 years we were together, 3 1/2 years of marriage, although they had their ups and downs were truly amazing! I loved him with all of my heart and I know he loved me...up until the very last day... he was worried about me being safe on my trip to Stanford, as he said, "I don't know what I would do if I lost you". He was always there for me and I always had comfort that no matter what, he would protect me, and care for me unconditionally. I miss him so much already and don't know how I am going to move on without him. A love like that literally comes once in a lifetime. I want to thank everyone so much for all the support and prayers. I truly appreciate all the support and know that my family will need it as the upcoming days, months will only get harder. I love Rob with every fiber of my being and my heart will ache for him until the day I die and see him in Glory."
