Plew Elementary Robotics Program

Donation protected
***THIS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITY HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE PLEW ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL AND THE OKALOOSA COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT.***

The goal of this fundraiser is to start a new robotics program at Plew Elementary during the 2015-2016 school year.

Throughout the year, we will design, build, program, and compete with robots designed to complete a variety of tasks ranging from simple to complex. The students will learn how to solve real-world engineering problems through applying math and science concepts. In addition, there are several parts that can be built on throughout the grades: robot programming (algorithm development), teamwork, presentation skills, and maintaining an engineering design notebook.

The program will give each child the required fundamental skills to be able to quickly contribute to the robotics team at their middle and high schools. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to set themselves apart for future college scholarships!
