RobSauce for Life

On Tuesday, April 14, my brother in law, Robert Hoffman, went to a routine dr appointment. The doc started checking his vitals and told him his heart was going crazy. They did an EKG and told him he was in A-Fib and that he needed to go to the ER immediately. After arriving at the ER, they quickly ran all sorts of tests and ended up transferring him downtown to the ICU. With all of the COVID19 stuff happening my sister is unable to be with him. She was able to talk to him Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
Fast forward to Wednesday afternoon, we find out that Robert is in heart failure. His heart has only been operating at 20%. We do not know what tomorrow, the next hour, or the next minute holds but we are all beyond shocked and devastated by this news. He is in critical but stable condition.
Robert is a strong man who loves his wife and two young kids dearly. He is a big ole teddy bear who's greatest joy in life involves being with his family. He is a wiz in the kitchen and loves adding his own spin to any recipe. He is dubbed RobSauce because of his love for making spicy salsa that he is so proud to make for anyone willing to try it. This is going to be a long road to recovery for him and I wanted to give the family some stress relief without having to worry about a financial burden. They are small business owners and without him working it could prove to be a very difficult time.
Please donate to support the Hoffman's if you feel it in your heart. Continued prayers are greatly appreciated.
Update 4.17.2020 - It is with an immense amount of heartache, confusion, and saddness that I announce that Robert Hoffman passed away last night a little after 10:30 PM. Kari was able to be by his side. The overwhelming amount of love and support that has been given from our friends, family, and community proves that Robert left a lasting impression on so many people. Please keep our family, especially Kari, Acie and Emersyn in your thoughts and prayers and respect their privacy at this time. #RIPRobSauce
I have increased the campaign goal to help cover additional funeral expenses and financial support during this time.
