A reserved young man healing from a break up is allured by a mysterious and intense woman who has only one interest - to steal his hoodie.

SYNOPSIS:

The pilot follows Qaseem, a quintessential Black millennial who recently experienced a break-up. He meets up with his friends at a sophisticated lounge and is captivated and instantly allured by Robyn, a wine connoisseur and soul collector.

After inviting her to his home for a little rendevous, the night quickly takes a chilling turn when Robyn's "cold-nature" unearths and she takes one of his hoodies without his permission.

A fresh, modern take on the succubus folklore merged with an inside joke in Black culture, Robyn Hood is a fun and frightful horror-comedy series detailing the saga of a sensual and alluring Robyn, a dame who finds comfort in stealing men’s hoodies for something more sinister.

Moon Ferguson, Producer

Moon Ferguson is a South Florida filmmaker known for her award-winning, hit fantasy series, Juju: The Web Series.  Moon's love for storytelling stems from needing an escape as a young girl, that's when her love for fantasy was born. At the age of eight, Moon began to write herself and other characters as those who were triumphant and in control of their power and destiny. This still shows in the characters she creates today.

Moon's  Chinese-Jamaican heritage and experiences as a Black millennial woman (and first-generation American) plays a major role in the tales she creates. . Her mission is to produce stories of magic, escapism, and wonder while honoring Black and Caribbean culture, history, and heritage.

NEEN., Director

Janeen "Neen" Talbott is a Brooklyn-born, dumpling-fed, and south Florida-bred screenwriter, designer, and director. The first-generation Jamaican American has a penchant for mystical realism, fantasy, and futurism. Her character-driven stories are rooted in her love for Black heroes – real and imagined the nuanced worlds in which they live, and her desire to see them diversely represented, respected, and lauded in film, television, and the real world.

Her short, Sight, has been screened in numerous festivals including San Diego Comic-Con International Film Festival and Bronze Lens Film Festival. The award-winning film is a futuristic take on faith and sacrifice. Neen is also one-fourth of the creative executive team behind the labor of love turned internet success Juju: The Web Series. There, she works in the capacity of a writer, director, and VFX artist to tell the story of three Black witches living in Brooklyn.
