Robyn O’Donnell Funeral and Life Expenses

May 2024 Update:

It is with a heavy heart that we, the family of Robyn O'Donnell announce her passing on Sunday, May 26th. She was surrounded by love and passed peacefully in her sleep after an extended battle with cancer. The family is hoping for support with funeral and life expenses are we close out this chapter of her wonderful life with us. July 2023 Update:

Robyn has spent the last week in the ICU being treated for septic shock after surgery the week prior to address renewal swelling. She is on a path to recovery and has been assigned a health advocate to support in-home services including PT & OT. We appreciate your continued support during this difficult time.

2022 was a tough year for Robyn’s health. She got sepsis after surgery to remove tumor from her ureter. When she was home and feeling better she fell and seriously injured her hamstring muscles making it so she couldn’t walk or drive a car for weeks.

She was diagnosed with metastatic bladder cancer and is currently being treated with chemo. Went from stage 1 in February 2022 to stage 4 in August 2022 with news her kidney needed to be removed - super scary! She’s halfway through her initial treatment. The plan is to follow-up with surgery to remove the cancerous lymph nodes, ureter and kidney. Additionally, Robyn had breast cancer in 2011 which was treated with surgery and radiation for which she is currently in remission.

The realities of being a small business owner and trying to manage your health cause a great deal of stress on top of missed work and piling bills. This fundraiser is meant to support Robyn during this time to minimize the financial stress so that she can focus on her health and healing.

We appreciate any and all donations regardless of amount. We also want to thank those of you who have driven Robyn for treatment, stayed with her in tough moments, brought her food and offered her comfort. Thank you for being there for her in any and all ways that you can.
