Rochester Summer Opera: Die Fledermaus
There is no question that the Covid-19 Pandemic impacted every industry. As students at the Eastman School of Music, we felt a hole in our hearts without the ability to perform opera live for our friends and family. We want to create an opportunity for students to perform, as well as a chance for Rochesterians to enjoy the beautiful summer weather and dip their toes into opera. We need help funding costumes, location rentals, lighting and sound equipment, and pianist fees. We would be infinitely grateful for your help funding this educational opportunity for students to continue hone their operatic skills.
Join us on August 25th on the lawn of the Memorial Art Gallery to enjoy a production of Johann Strauss’ timeless classic “Die Fledermaus” performed in English by an All Star cast. Pack a picnic, your blanket, some chairs, and be prepared to have a night to remember! No tickets are required, but we suggest a donation of $20 per person.
If you donate by August 15th, you will qualify for the following incentives!
For a donation of $100, you will receive your name in the program as a thank you for your generosity
For a donation of $150, you will receive your name in the program and you will receive a video from a member of the cast thanking you for your generosity.
