Rock Climbing Prosthetic Shoe

The purpose of this campaign is to design, prototype and manufacture an  advanced prosthetic rock climbing shoe that addresses the desire for an aggressive toe and heel that current models don’t have. The funding would be towards prototype testing and making the shoe an affordable reality!

Over the past 5 months, with the motivation and ideas from fellow rock climber and friend Jeremy Ritchie,  I have finished a first design, but need help affording the first titanium build that will range from $1300-$1600.

After testing the shoes on the climbing wall and arriving at a final design, the goal is to make a mold to drive the cost down. The cost will be high initially, but the only replaceable part will be the rubber.
