Hi everyone. This Karen: This is Erick Club recovery page. Erick is out of the hospital and recovering with family. He still has a long road ahead of him. He's working on healing his body, mind and soul. He's going to have some big challenges and medical bills. We appreicate all of your support and it is truely needed. Erick had a tramatic head injury as child too, he has a very limited income. 

If there's any money left over after medical bills, it will go towards Erick's community garden and home repairs. Read more below to learn about Erick's mission and passion for people. 

Hi everyone! It's me Erick - founder of the Rock Club Foundation - and my trusty sidekick Deer the Goat.

I have a true passion for community. At it's heart, the Rock Club Foundation was formed to bring people together. Together Deer and I have been traveling the country looking for good people and loving place. We’ve been searching and working!

I’m ready to announce that we’ve found a place that inspires us. A place where we can all help create gardens and start outreach programs. A place where hopefully the Rock Club can be the glue for many people coming together to share food, laughs, comfort, and good times.

I’d would truly love your support in creating this dream.

I’m seeking your generous help for $5000 to use as down payment on a home and land in the Detroit area. All of this money will be spent with growing the community in mind.

I’m a survivor of TBI and I know how it feels to be left out, to be alone. I’m ready to change that for myself and others.

We all deserve a place to been seen, a place to be supported. For some, I hope that will be a loving piece of property near Detroit where we can gather, grow a community garden, and generally support each other.

A little bit more about me for those that may not know me... my name is Erick Brown and I started the Rock Club Foundation many years ago back in Florida to bring together kids in my highschool around a common love - music. I'm the director of the club and for last 5 years I've been on a serious mission to make the world a better place:
- RCF help feed the homeless daily
- RCF  host cooking & clothing events called "Free Day Markets"
- RCF helped organize 10 years of Earth Day Fairs across the country, including a Bicycle Day intended to help provide bikes to those that can't afford their own
- RCF traveled the country last year helping educate the nation on the presidential election process
- And perhaps you've seen me with my pet goat Deer!

My goal in life and my goal for the Rock Club Foundation is simply to bring people together and help make the world a better place.
