Rock Riser Medical expenses
Donation protected
Update: 1/29/23
Rock is 18 days post-op from his bi-lateral lung transplant-- he had his trach removed this past Wednesday and is eating, talking, and progressing quickly with therapy. Feeding tube is still placed to ensure he gets all of his necessary calories to heal and regain muscle. He is able to finally do self-care tasks on his own, and get in an out of the bed/chair! We continue to ask for your prayers as Rock adjusts to his new lungs, and continues to go through rigorous therapy to regain his strength. He is a walking miracle!
We are setting up a fundraiser to help with the Medical Expenses of Rock Riser from Bowman. He is a 17 year old young man who is a junior at Branchville High School and an active member of Fellowship of Praise Church in Santee.
He had sinus surgery on Nov 4, 22. He was admitted to TRMC ICU on Nov 20th after multiple trips to ED with high fever. He was later transported to Prisma Children’s Hospital in Columbia and stayed there for 9 days in ICU before being air-lifted to MUSC Children’s hospital in Charleston. He has been in ICU since then.
Many of you have asked to contribute towards his medical expenses. For that, we are most grateful!
You can donate at any of the locations of Farmers and Merchants Bank, here on the go fund me page where his sister, Kegan will be over seeing the account, or donate directly to the family via check payable to Gregg Riser. Please note on check for Rock Riser.
