Tim's Rockin Socks - 6th Annual

Six years ago I was trying to figure out what to do for my husband that would nurture his spirit during the holidays. This is a time of year that is particularly difficult for him.  I was recalling times that I had seen his spirit lifted and what the circumstances around it had been.

Thats when I remembered our trip to skid row. We went to get rid of more than 100 pairs of socks that had belonged to my late  step father.  And it was then that I KNEW!!! With the help of my sweet friend Cali Joanou, we named the project  Tim's Rockin' Socks and kicked off the first year of fundraising. Every year since, as a Christmas Gift to Tim, I have put together and led the fundraising effort. And EVERY year we meet people who touch our souls and inspire us to be more like the people God has called us to be.

Imagine not having a clean, dry pair of socks to put on your feet.
