“Rocks” Short Film

Logline: A kid, Mixalis, goes door to door selling rocks to raise enough money to buy the new Pokémon game, but when he sells his rocks, he finds that their absence means a lot more than he thought.

From our Director, Dionysi Siopsis:

This short is a personal story based on a real thing I did (yes, I sold rocks door to door). I remember the feeling of overwhelming guilt. I remember the desire for something so simple, a videogame. I remember the confusion I felt over my guilt and shame. This film is a love-letter to my childhood like Bergman's Fanny and Alexander or Hou Hsiao-Hsien' A Time to Live and a Time to Die, and I am very excited to finally film it.
