Rocky’s Emergency Pyometra Surgery

Hi all,

My dog, Rocky, fell extremely ill unexpectedly the last two days and through lots of testing was diagnosed with Pyometra. Pyometra is an extremely fatal infection in the uterus that inflames it with pus. The only way she will survive is through emergency surgery.

We have covered most of the previous costs of multiple testing, blood work, and X-rays - but we were hit with this unexpectedly, as well. The surgery is approximately $4000. She is one of two of our family fur babies and has watched us grown up over the past years.

Our baby girl has been hiding her pain from us by still chasing her ball, playing with her toys, and and giving us unconditional love with her kisses. Our family is extremely devastated, but we know with surgery and proper treatment, she will be better.
