Dear Friends,

Most of you know of my mother's illness by reading my status since July.

Since I joined Facebook in 2007, I never organized a gofundme campaign because as much as possible I don't want to impose. And as much as I am transparent about my dance business, I am very private when it comes to families.  But I decided to be a little bit transparent starting last July.

In July 2019, my mother was diagnosed with the late stage of liver cancer.

Prior to that diagnosis, my mom has been battling dimentia for 5 years and have gone to the hospital every month for a blood test, et al.
At any given time, Doctors never found anything wrong with her health except for her dimentia.

One day, she fell by trying to get up from a chair and hit her head. She was rushed to the hospital, and after 24 hours with a few stitches, the hospital was ready to release her.

That moment, when she was about to be discharged, a couple of doctors told my brother that they noticed and found something from the scan. (They did a scan to make sure she didn't have broken bones from the fall)

"We noticed a big mass on her liver." My brother did not realize it was serious until they told him, that it was too big that surgery was out of the question due to her age (85). "She has 3 months to live, give or take."

Since the diagnosis, my brother and sister started taking care of her on a daily basis. I started visiting her every weekend since I now live in Reno. It always breaks my heart watching my mom suffers with dimentia and cancer where cannot speak and her skin changing everyday for the worse.

Lately, she is unable to move and has trouble opening her eyes.  Last Sunday, my bother informed me that she stopped eating and breathing rapidly.

Today, I got a text from my brother that she has a few days to live. The nurse came to the house and gave her morphine so that it would help her breathing. A priest also came today. It's just a matter of time.

I created this fund campaign because with a bit of your help, it will help us arrange her funeral affairs and expenses.

I found out last week, that her death & life insurance was cancelled many years ago due to her inability to pay her bills. She was always great at paying bills and money until her dimentia took over. She took care of my sick sister (Bipolar Disorder) and father for 10 years (kidney failure) until his death. After my father's death, her dimentia crept in and slowly could no longer take care of herself.
