Rodney Berryman

We are currently engaged in a fundraising campaign in honor of the late Rodney Berryman, who tragically passed away at the age of 52.

Rodney was involved in a devastating incident in Baldwin Park, where he was struck by a vehicle traveling at an approximate speed of 50 mph. The impact forcefully propelled him approximately 50 feet away from the point of contact.

Unfortunately, the identity of the driver and the vehicle involved remain unknown. Rodney was immediately transported to the nearest hospital with severe, life-threatening injuries, including a hematoma the size of a baseball on his forehead, multiple fractures in his pelvis, a broken tibia, organ failure, and sepsis.

For a duration of two days, Rodney valiantly fought for his life while being sustained by life support. During this time, we stood by his side, providing support and care despite his unconscious state. Regrettably, his battle concluded at 11:34 am on December 4th, 2023.

Rodney was an extraordinary and devoted father to four remarkable sons, a pastor who exemplified the teachings of God, and a cherished friend to many. His mission in life was to spread positivity and kindness through every interaction. Approachable and affable, he possessed an innate ability to connect with others, making him someone people found easy to talk to. Choosing to wear a smile each day was a testament to the exceptional individual he was.
