A message from his Children:

To truly know our dad is to understand that although he may have appeared a bit standoffish and stern at first glance, he was the kindest, most loving, and occasionally stubborn person you could ever meet. Dad was a man of boundless creativity, always brimming with innovative ideas and inventions. And let's not forget, he was quite the ladies' man too! Above all, he instilled in us the timeless biblical principles and codes of integrity to live by.

On November 30th, we tragically lost our beloved father to colon cancer. This devastating news came as a shock to our entire family, leaving us ill-prepared to face the reality of his passing, especially during the holiday season. Rodney leaves behind 7 children and 13 grandchildren. As we navigate through this time of grief and reminiscence, we humbly ask for your support in laying our dad to rest with love.

Rodney's dying wish was for his loved ones not to pity his circumstances, but instead, to draw closer to God. Our goal is for Rodney to know that he was deeply loved and cared for by every person he encountered. In honoring his memory, we would be immensely grateful to bury him next to his mother, Marion Anderson, and his brother, Antonio Guyston. They rest side by side, and we believe our dad will feel right at home in joining them in eternal peace.

Funeral expenses:

- Funeral home charges $3,155

- Casket and casket related fees $3,020

- Burial fee $4,125

- + flowers and merchandise expenses $1,200

These are the minimum expenses to have a wonderful funeral start to finish for Rodney Anderson. We would love to celebrate his life with all of his friends and loved ones.
