Dear Friends & Family,

I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of Rodney Pettit. Rodney was murdered suddenly Saturday night. The assailant is in custody and awaiting trial. We are still unsure of all the details.

We are absolutely devastated by Rodney’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. The funeral and services are going to cost roughly $10,000 which needs to be paid up front. What is more concerning is that Rodney is leaving behind his fiancé and 4 children including a 1 month old.

I’ve started a fundraiser to collect donations for Rodney’s funeral service and help ease the financial burden of losing him so suddenly.
